About the EOIR Case Data Explorer
What is this?
The EOIR Case Data Explorer is a free, public tool for browsing immigration court case data from the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). It is designed for immigration attorneys, researchers, journalists, and anyone interested in understanding how immigration courts operate.
Data Source
All data comes from the EOIR FOIA Library, published by the U.S. Department of Justice. The raw data files are available at fileshare.eoir.justice.gov.
The data is updated monthly by EOIR. This site refreshes its database on the 15th of each month.
Public Domain
This data is in the public domain as a U.S. Government work released under FOIA. There are no restrictions on its use. The data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) beyond attorney contact information that is already part of the public record.
Disclaimer
Certain data fields (e.g., custody, detention, and date of entry) are not sourced from EOIR. For the most accurate records on this information, please contact the Department of Homeland Security.
This tool is provided as-is for informational purposes. It is not an official government website and is not affiliated with the Department of Justice or EOIR.
